Hi, I can’t seem to figure this one out. Engraved M or W depending how you turn it. I think definitely Zuni, similar to Dishta style. Any guesses to who or age? (This one fits, so I get to keep it).

Hmmm. Not sure, but I will give you a couple names in addition to Dishta.
If that is a signature, maybe Matthew Lidase. Usually there is more of a signature. Matthew and Rosemary Lidase worked together but I own one piece with just Matthew’s signature.
You also may want to Google the work of Bernice and Roosevelt Tekala.

LATEYICE MATHEW is the artist according to Turquoise Village in Zuni NM. I don’t know why, but I was overcome by the feeling it should go hone. The guy was so charming I would have given to him for free had he asked. They said at their store in Zuni they dealt personally with everyone that is mentioned above and that Mathew made jewelry in this style but that it was more special.
