Great site to indulge in obsession of NA history of life and art!

At 5-6 years old (1962) Dad built a new house in Shade’s Valley, AL and in the broken up ground I found my first arrowhead. A full piece, red and about 1-1/2" long, I was fascinated by it wondering who made this with their own hands, how old was it and why was it just laying there? That piece has been long been lost for someone else to find. Dad tells me Daniel Boone is a distant uncle, then my Mom’s Mom tells me her family has a Canadian Princess in her ancestry. Now I love investigating the whole universal nature of those who cherished these America’s before us hillbillies got here and how all tribes still have their own identity through the aspects of their works. Beautiful, harsh.
