Hopi overlay ring with leaf-like hallmark?

Hi from Australia! I bought a ring from a market stall today that to all appearances seems to be Hopi, the stallholders said they buy their stock from America, I was wondering, is it really Native American, or are there copies circulating? whose is the hallmark and also what does the symbol on the front mean? I have googled and not come up with anything, it it stamped (clearest on one side) sterling on the back with a symbol that kinda looks like a slightly rounded triangle with a crooked line coming out of it at around a 45 degree angle (sorry I could’nt get a pic  ) thanks in advance to anyone who can help

I am sorry, but it is very hard to tell from your picture. A better quality of the ring, front and hallmark would really help. I am providing a link of Hopi images in google, https://www.google.com/search?q=hopi+silver&hl=en&tbo=u&tbm=isch&source=univ&sa=X&ei=Xr_MUKP8Cqr9ygGjl4DoAQ&ved=0CGIQsAQ&biw=1920&bih=1009 this could help.

Hi Jason, thanks for the link, the images were helpful  I have done a bit more digging and the hallmark seems to be Norman Honie jr, on closer inspection there seems to be a very faint hallmark on the top back of the ring maybe a sun with an upsidedown T shape in it? perhaps The Hopi Arts and Crafts Silvercraft Cooperative Guild mark? still no idea what the symbol on the face of the ring means, but I now have better photos
