I’m not sure how I came to own this. It might have been in some things that came from my grandmother’s house. I’ve looked online extensively and found some similar hallmarks, but nothing exact. The hallmark says “M STERLING”. Any help with artist, age, etc are greatly appreciated!

The complication here is that you will find – if you Google the term, “Native American Hallmarks,” and look at the letter “M” – that more than half-a-dozen artists simply used the letter “M” as their signature.
Also, this is a classic and simple piece that doesn’t leave much room for us to see identifiable stylistic quirks of a particular artist.
I will leave others to chime in, but that’s why I’ve found it difficult to help you.
