I have 2 necklaces that I am interested in selling, and would like an idea of what they may be worth. The treasure necklace has a pattern on the cones, and I am wondering if that may be a signature? The fetishes are charming and I think are well carved…the frog seems to smile, and both the fish and bird have different colors showing on the shell from one side to the next. The little turquoise heishi style necklace I am told may be a jacla. It looks like it may have been made for a child, and seems quite old.It is strung on a cotton string.
It was purchased in NM in the 1950’s by an aunt.
Hello, I was wondering if anyone would be able to give me an idea on the value of these pieces? Also, is the pattern on the cones a possible hallmark, or a decorative stamping? Any assistance would be appreciated!
