Makers mark EJ on native american jewelry

Hi my wife has a pendant which i remember bringing back for her from a visit to family in Arizona in the 1970s. I’m not sure whether this is Navajo craft or not - would be grateful if anyone can help. I assume the turquoise stone is set in silver, although there is no sterling mark to confirm. On the back are just the letter EJ - see photos. Can anyone please tell me the origin of this item and whether it is likely to be silver? It’s a very attractive item.

Hello, this is Navajo made. Not sure who the initials EJ belong to. The turquoise is a piece of Kingman, often referred to as seafoam. Thanks for sharing.
