Silver Belt Buckle with Turquoise and Deer

This is from my father-in-laws estate. I know nothing about it, except it was probably purchased in the 70’s or maybe the 80’s, possibly in Colorado. Can you tell me something about it? It doesn’t look like it’s ever been worn.

Thanks,
Joan

It looks Navajo made, but could not find an artist that uses the BC. Also, is the deer raised above the bottom plate or flat? We have Carson Blackgoat buckles that we sell for $180 that are done in a shadowbox style. Thanks for sharing.

The deer head and the turquoise is 3-D. It’s like a shadowbox. Thanks for your input!
