Hello, yes this is real turquoise. It looks like a very nice rock with a rich blue color. We have had Egyptian Turquoise and it has always been really nice stone.

It looks like this stone is stabilized from the image. However it could be imitation. It is difficult to tell from the image. Neither the black matrix or silver looks natural. Sorry I couldn’t be more help.
