Turquoise Identification on a bolo

I was dubious about this piece at first. From a distance it appeared to be dyed howlite. I took a chance on it at auction and was pleasantly surprised to find that what looked like howlite coming through was actually crystallization of some sort. It also has a nice amount of pyrite in it as well(under a loupe visible). Any thoughts on what type this is? It has no hallmarks other that one on a tip. Leather is old and supple. Any thoughts? Any thoughts on value?

In the 1970s, when my mother was selling this jewelry, I remember hearing about “sea foam” turquoise. I think that wasn’t from a particular mine, it was just a style of stone. That’s what I thought of when I saw this, though I think it was more aqua-colored than bright blue.

I also immediately thought of Seafoam turquoise. I know the color will change in indoor vs outdoor lighting, but the texture looks right to possibly be seafoam.
